There are some questions that you need to ask before you get a new home construction estimate. We will take a look at a few of them and offer some suggestions on how to handle the other ones.
What is the square footage? The square footage of your property is the amount of floor space per unit. Therefore, you should get an exact measurement of the number of units you will need for your home.
How many doors? This will affect the number of bedrooms in your home. Make sure that the number of doors you need does not exceed the number of bedrooms in your home.
How many square feet are you going to need? When you put up the square footage, it will include all of the outside walls as well as the interior walls of your home. You will want to add the value of the home to the total square footage. Since there are two sides of the building, the extra space can be an addition to the house.
What is the exterior grade? This is the external grade of your home that is visible from the street. If you do not have an estimate for this, you may end up paying more for the home than what you should have.
What is the access for stairs? With your new home construction estimate, you will get a list of each staircase and walkway.
What is the property tax rate? All of your future homes will have a property tax rate. You will need to know this information when you get your new home construction estimate.
Do you need a total square footage? This will be something that you will need to look up in the new home construction estimate. You will also need to get this number in order to determine the length of the driveway.
How many bedrooms and bathrooms? You will have three bedrooms and five bathrooms in your new home.

The other questions to ask are whether or not you are interested in asking to visit the builder. Ask them if they can give you a list of references for the home builder.
