To create a daily budget, go to Excel and open the spreadsheet called “Daily Budget” then click on the “Import” button. When this opens up, you will see that there are two tabs in the sheet, first is the income tab and second is the expenses tab.

Now you need to choose which tab to focus on by selecting the “Expenses” tab. You will need to enter an amount for the expenses you want to budget each day.

How to Create a Daily Budget in Excel

To get started, take your time to fill in the blank spaces in the appropriate columns on the spreadsheet. For instance, if you want to put money towards a car payment, you will need to put in a sum in the “Other”, or “Interest” column.

At the bottom of the expenses tab, you will see a text box that asks you if you want to use a set formula. Choose to use a set formula so that the formulas you enter will show up as normal.

Once you’ve completed your entries for each day, press “Publish” to publish your sheet. To make sure that you have entered all of the appropriate data, you can click on the checkbox next to the totals and make sure that they match what you entered.

If you have a lot of items to include in your daily budget, you may want to look at other spreadsheets that have already been made for this very purpose. A good place to start would be a spreadsheet called “Daily Budget Excel”.

To make a copy of the spreadsheet called “Daily Budget Excel”, select “New Sheet” and then click on the “File” tab. Click on the “Spreadsheet” dropdown and then choose “File”, and then browse to where you saved the Excel file.
